Say it ain’t so. Akira is an incredible musician, and the guy who pretty much MADE Silent Hill what it is, as its chief sound designer and composer from day one. Leaving Konami almost assuredly means he will no longer be attached to Silent Hill, which is a super bummer as I often look forward to Silent Hill soundtracks more than the games themselves. I’m excited about his future prospects, although slightly bummed at what is likely the death of the classic Silent Hills.
